Now, I listen to metal every once in a while. Metallica every now and again. Some Motorhead gets a spin or three. But recently I have "discovered" Rammstein. Its in German, which is actually why I listen to it, it has no screaming, and amazing composition. I actually started listening to them to help learn pronunciation and verb conjugation in my German class but now I flat out enjoy them.
Contrary to popular belief, they are not neo-Nazi headbanging fascists. Quite the opposite. They are socially conscious philanthropic headbangers. They regularly do charity benifit concerts for holocaust survivors and social works foundations all over Germany. Its not that often that one finds a metal band with a heart of gold.
